FIFTY FIFTY (50:50) : DALL’ITALIA ALLA GRECIA PASSANDO PER IL GIAPPONE

Dall’Ufficio Stampa 2WayTraffic un comunicato su Fifty Fifty del 31 marzo scorso nel quale evidenzio due particolarità.
La prima sembrerebbe una conferma a quanto avevo scritto in questo post. La seconda, invece, è un’ipotesi che lascia aperte le strade in relazione alla programmazione del nuovo game show di Gerry Scotti. Le evidenzio in grassetto.

2waytraffic’s 50-50 commissioned by Mediaset in Italy
2waytraffic today announces that Mediaset, Italy’s main commercial network, has commissioned a series of game show format, 50-50.
50-50 will be produced by Endemol Italy and will launch on Canale 5, the Mediaset channel which is home to the Italian version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, at the end of April in a daily timeslot stripped across the week. The series will be hosted by Gerry Scotti, who also hosts Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? in the territory.
50-50 is 2waytraffic’s first spin-off from Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and extends the 50-50 Lifeline into a new format in which contestants play in pairs and make straight choices between two possibilities.
2waytraffic launched 50-50 to the international market at Mipcom in October. The format has already been commissioned by Japan’s Fuji channel for transmission later this month, while Mega Channel in Greece has commissioned a daily version of the show to launch in Autumn 2008.
Ed Louwerse, Managing Director of 2waytraffic International, commented:
“50-50 is a fresh and exciting format, and I am delighted to be working with Mediaset and Endemol Italy on its launch in Italy. Their expertise and experience will produce a stunning and successful version of the show.”
Laura Tombolini, Producer, Endemol Italy, said:
“We are very proud to be the first country in Europe to air 50-50 and are delighted to be contributing to this great format’s global roll out.”
50-50 can run weekly or daily, and is versatile enough to play in any timeslot. Answering questions individually but ultimately working as a team, contestants must select an answer from two possible options before the question is passed over to their partner who must decide whether they agree or disagree. After two nail-biting rounds throughout which the stakes rise and the game-play gets trickier, the couple reach the climax of the game in which they must decide the amount of money they think they deserve to win. If they guess wrongly, they can lose everything.

Ho visto la prima puntata ed onestamente non mi è piaciuto per nulla. L'ho trovato moscio, privo di suspence, con una formula, quella del gioco ""a squadre"" (sia pure di due sole persone) che in Italia ha funzionato molto raramente. Le domande sono o molto facili, quasi idiote, oppure terribilmente astruse, di quelle da tirare a caso, tipo pacchi de ""i fatti tuoi"". Insomma, se è vero che il Milionario aveva un pò stancato (sono d'accordo), a mio avviso non è certo con questo 50/50 che si potrà bissarne il successo.

Spero sia carino e che ne approfittino per cambiare la grafica (le domande in blu sono illeggibili)!!!

il problema è che una specie di milionario. praticamente fanno sempre gli stessi quiz. ma per favore. si deve fare qualcosa di innovativo, come è stato per 1 vs 100 che purtroppo ha floppato. quindi dovrebbero presentare un altro quiz ""nuovo"", non un milionario modificato

@ alexa : amen! :-) Diciamo che uno può prevedere ma dire che uno è più carino dell'altro senza aver visto quanto meno uno dei due, mi sembra un po' azzardato.
