E così, tra i vincitori degli Emmy Awards 2017 c’è stato anche Donald Trump. O meglio, il suo alter ego comico. Evocato più volte con battute e critiche dal palco del Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles, The Donald ha ricevuto una insolita menzione da parte dell’attore Alec Baldwin, premiato come Miglior non protagonista in una Comedy proprio per la sua imitazione di Trump al Saturday Night Live. “Mr. President, here is your Emmy“, ha scherzato il comico. Ma andiamo a scoprire tutti i vincitori della 69esima edizione, che – tra gli altri – ha visto trionfare The Handmaid’s Tale (Miglior Serie Drammatica), Big Little Lies (Miglior Miniserie) e Veep (Miglior serie comica).

Tra i premiati, Big Little Lies ha fatto incetta di statuette: per la sua interpretazione nella miniserie, Nicole Kidman è stata proclamata Miglior attrice protagonista in una Miniserie. Elisabeth Moss è stata incoronata Miglior attrice protagonista di una serie drammatica per la pluripremiata The Handmaid’s Tale. Un riconoscimento è andato anche a This Is Us con Sterling K. Brown, Miglior attore protagonista di una serie Drama. The Voice si conferma il miglior Competition Show. Tra i trionfatori anche il già citato Saturday Night Live.
