Emmy Awards 2024: le nomination

La 76^esima edizione degli Emmy Awards ha le sue nomination. Questo pomeriggio, in diretta streaming, la star di Abbott Elementary Sheryl Lee Ralph e il pluripremiato Tony Hale hanno infatti reso note le candidature ai premi per la migliore tv a stelle e strisce.

A guidare la carica dei plurinominati (periodo di riferimento: giugno 2023-maggio 2024), tenendo conto anche delle categorie ‘tecniche’, c’è la serie drammatica Shōgun, con ben 25 candidature, seguita dalla comedy The Bear (23 nomination, superando il record per una comedy, detenuto da 30 Rock), entrambe targate Disney+, e da The Crown (18 nomination). La chiacchierata Baby Reindeer ottiene 11 nomination. Da segnalare, inoltre, la candidatura di Sofia Vergara come miglior attrice di una mininserie per Griselda: è la prima latina a concorrere per il titolo.

FX agguanta 93 nomination (conquistate con Shogun, The Bear, Feud: Capote vs the Swans, What we do in the Shadows, Fargo e Reservation Dogs). 70, invece, le nomination per Apple TV+. Netflix ottiene 107 nomination; HBO/Max si ferma a 91. Infine, Il gruppo Disney con FX – ABC – Hulu ottiene 147 nomination.
