Per la prima volta, le due serie più acclamate degli ultimi mesi sono rimaste a bocca asciutta; questo, almeno nelle categorie più importanti.

Stiamo parlando di Desperate Housewives e Lost, rispettivamente escluse dalle categorie Miglior Comedy e Miglior Drama.

Si tratta della sorpresa più lampante delle nomination di quest’anno agli Emmy Awards 2006, anche se, almeno nel caso di Desperate Housewives, la critica era stata piuttosto negativa sin dall’inizio della seconda stagione.

Nessuna nomination nemmeno per gli attori : solo Alfre Woodard (Betty) in migliore attrice di supporto.
