News now are certain: Elisabetta Canalis and Belen Rodriguez will anticipate 24 hours of their participation to Sanremo Music Festival 2012. Surprisingly, the two female protagonists of the previous edition will already appear tonight on stage at the Ariston theater alongside of Gianni Morandi and Rocco Papaleo, replacing Ivana Mrazova. The first lady of the festival was in fact suffering from an “acute cervical spinal block” that has jeopardized her presence (for more info click here).

In light of Mrazova’s health conditions, this morning the artistic director of San Remo, Gianmarco Mazzi, had announced that the Festival staff was working to organize a plan B to recalibrate the soirée in case of her defection. Now that eventuality takes on the outlines of certainty. So, the names of Elisabetta Canalis first (some agencies have spoken of her appearance at the end of the Adriano Celentano’s performance) and Belen Rodriguez right after her popped up.

In fact the two ladies were already ready to go as they did rehearsals last week and then left the Ligurian Riviera right after. And so on stage tonight we will find again the same team that last year gave the Festival record ratings. Luca and Paolo, (two well known Italian comedians) are called to open the evening.
